NEW YORK, NEW YORK
Greetings from New York City where we laughed and cried in the last few days, from joy, pride and relief, our daughter graduated from Parsons.
It is so funny, when we walk in Paris, we gaze at monuments, shop franticly in the best boutiques in the world, our heads are filled with music coming from the bistrots and our heart is grateful for so much beauty.
We are walking in New York, and I have the same exciting feelings, my head is always tilted, looking at the Brownstones and skyscrapers.
Strolling down the street at night, we peer into people's lives through the lighted windows, all my senses are in alert , the noise is overwhelming but lively, the smells coming from different restaurants tease us into overeating, oh well!
We walk in New York a lot!! Love the different styles on the street. Yesterday, the weather was celebrating too, and everyone was happy and joyous on the streets, exhibiting their mood in their own personal style. In New York, unlike any other American city, you can see people wearing jeans and flip flops and the latest trends, or even a tuxedo, all in the same place, and nobody looks out of place. Absolutely priceless!
