THE OSCAR LOOKS I LOVE!!

Happy  International women's day!!! 

Red! Red! Red! This year I loved the red gowns on the Red Carpet!!! Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Hudson, Sandra Bullock,  looked  powerful, sophisticated. 





My favorites and the best dressed were  Hailee Steinfeld in Marchesa,  who looked age-appropriate, fresh and exquisite, 

                                                             
and Camilla Alves in Kaufman Franco.                
              
There were lots of beautiful gowns, shoes and jewelry, but most of the time I couldn't see the true beauty of the woman. They were overpowered by some of the fashion elements, especially when something didn't fit properly. Or maybe the makeup or hair didn't match the gown, and instead of looking elegant, they looked older than they are or cheap. 

But Camilla Alves and Hailee Steinfeld were put together perfectly, and the result was magnificence. 

Something I always say to my clients is that you should wear the gown, the gown should not wear you.
